During Elementary

I’ve been through a lot of sacrifices in life. Since I lived in a countryside, I’ve gone into a lot of sufferings, not just in a financial but in study as well.

Every weekdays we kept on hiking in going to school. Our house was to far from the school we were studying. And almost everyday I was also selling suman just to earn more. I feel no shame of myself. Instead, I enjoyed every bit of it. At least., I’ve help my mother even just in small ways.

One time, while we were on our way to house. there was a suddenly a flood. Wewere riding on our small boat when the flow of water became to fast. Plus yung malalaking kahoy na natangay ng flood. It was really so difficult to cross on the other side. But we still continued our journey kuno hay… Unfortunately, the boat begun to sink. We were carried away by the flood. We fall down on the water and we did our best to swim back against the flow. And Thanks to God that we were3 too well trained to swim, because if not perhaps all of us were dead.

So, as we reached to the house we were all wet. But don’t you know what? We just laugherd at our experience and even our p-arents would make laugh with us. Perhaps, that’s what really pinoy is.. Tumatawa pa rin kahit nasa panganib.

During my childhood years…

As the youngest, I’ve always been the favorite. In terms of household chores, I was always execempted. They didn’t allow me to help. Palibhasa, bunso.

Sometimes, when we got some trouble or misunderstanding with my siblings, I always excused from sermon. The blame was always put on my siblings since they were older than me. The point was, they were old enough to know what is good and what is bad compared to me and does they were expected to treat me so well since I was the youngest among them. And that was one of the advantages of being the youngest- always from any unnecessary acts. Bunso kasi.

When it comes to toys. I cried when my parents won’t by me a new one. It’s really one of the natures of the child to be so much fun of toys. And since we weren’t that rich my parents could only afford to buy a cheaper one. And I was contented with what I have. But sometimes I couldn’t help myself to get envy with my cousins. They all had a lot of expensive toys while, mine were just a walking dolls-a cheap walking doll!(poor child)

Every time we had visitors, I took the opportunity to ask for a money for my parents because they couldn’t refuse. That was actually, my technique in order for them to give. Wise! Heheh But I got a sermon afterwards.
