What does teaching means to me?

Every individual has his on way of defining the word teaching. On my own point of view teaching is somehow mentoring.

It is not just imparting knowledge to the learners, but making a big difference in their lives. It is not just a profession but a mission to be fulfilled.

Teaching is not merely sharing ideas. It requires time and effort to make it worthwhile. It is somewhat giving some portion of your life to the learners.

Teaching is also shaping learner’s personality it is one way of helping them develop their potentials as a human being, helping the learners to improve their

talents and skills for the future purpose.

Teaching is visualizing a better future; creating dreams and leading us to fulfill them.

Teaching indeed is one way of achieving our dreams!

Who is a professional teacher?

A professional teacher is a degree holder, and a LET passer. He must be knowledgeable, competitive and has a wide range of knowledge about his field.

A professional teacher must have mastery on his subject, and he must be objective in rating the performances of his students.

A professional should have an experience in his field. He should have an exposure on the actual school setting; and he should know to deal with different types of learner in a different types of environment.

A professional teacher must also be ethical. HE must dress well, and act according to his profession. He must be the model of everything that is ethical.

A professional teacher doesn’t mix his emotions with his profession. He must see to it that everything will be part in its proper prospective.

He must be a strong willed person; committed to his profession, and his passion is merely teaching.
